Your absence on this earth will leave a huge hole in many!! Marie was like a second Mom to me, and equally a friend. Being a part of such a big family for so many years was a blessing and I will hold those memories close to my heart always!
You have to be more than strong to have raised so many kids for sure!! She always seemed prepared for anything, with her little emergency kit right on her...containg safety pins, needles & thread, you name it.:) I loved her smile and warm hugs so much!! She always took the time to sit down with me to talk and listen, and as a teenager, I couldn't help but love a little gossip too....she cracked me up! She also took the time to teach me how to make the best chicken enchiladas & spanish rice ever! Each time I make them, it will be in honor of her.
Both Mom and Dad made a huge impact on my life! Nothing is ever perfect, but witnessing a man & wife stick together through so much, was a good thing for me to see and the example sticks with me to this day.....I can't help but think that Dads amazing sense of humor helped carry them through alot:)
I truly can't imagine all of the beauty she is seeing up there now and what a joyful reunion she is having with our Lilia.
See you again someday!
