Obituary of Angelica Martinez
Angelica (Jela) Martinez was born in El Recodo, Nuevo León Mexico to Tomas and Felipa Garza on September 13, 1945. Her parents moved to the United States where she had the opportunity to get educated and learned English, and impacted many lives. She met the love of her life, Ubaldo Martinez, in 1962 in Othello, WA. January 5, 1964 they exchanged vows in Repueblo de Oriente, Nuevo León Mexico and were happily married. They started their family in 1965 and raised their kids on a farm in Othello. She is survived by her kids: Ubaldo Jr (Inelda) Martinez, Isidoro Martinez, Anna Lee (Cesar) Garza, Belinda (Osiel) Suarez, her 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings: Rogelio (Nancy+) Ramos, Roque (Rita) Garza, and Diana (Paco) Martinez.
Our mom was the heart of our home, the center of our universe, and the greatest example of unconditional love we could have hoped to have. She went to be with the Lord December 12, 2020.
She will be laid to rest with and received by the love of her life Ubaldo Martinez, her adoring parents Tomas and Felipa Garza, her beautiful sister Nancy Ramos, her loving grandson Matthew Garza, nephew Benjamin Martinez and her devoted dog Honey. You will be loved and deeply missed by your Family. Your legacy will continue.
