Obituary of Victoria Rios Rubalcaba
Victoria Rios Rubalcaba, age 81, of Othello, Washington, passed away November 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Asherton, Texas of April 22, 1936 to parents, Pablo Rios and Rufugia Agular. She was married to Jose Rubalcaba on February 4, 1952 in Texas. They had seven children and enjoyed 60 years of marriage, until Jose passed away, September 25, 2012. Victoria worked on the inspection line Carnation, today know as JR Simplot, from 1973 until she retired in 2001. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had a passion for the Lord. She enjoyed flower gardening, but her greatest joy in life other than God, was her family. She will be dearly missed. She was survived by her children: Stella (Fernando Sr.) Castro of Othello, Washington, Alma Rosa (Miguel) Ramos of Othello, Washington, Delia Morgan of Kennewick, Washington, Enrique (Myrna) Rubalcaba of Othello, Washington, Leroy Rubalcaba of Spokane, Washington, and Gloria (Alvin) Korrell of Othello, Washington. Victoria also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation was held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Stevens Funeral Chapel. Catholic Mass was held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.
