Obituary of Denise Louise Hartsoch

Denise Hartsoch, 64, of Othello, Washington, passed away October 8, 2017.  She was affectionately known as “Nana” by her closest friends and nephew, Justin Mitzel.  Born in Kalispell, Montana on October 24, 1952 to Melford Louis Hartsoch and Frances Kathryn (Gohn) Hartsoch, Denise graduated in California from Los Banos High School, Class of 1971.  Denise was a Material Coordinator in Pruhdoe Bay, Alaska for 29 years.  She also owned and operated the Old Hotel Restaurant from 1989 to 1994 along side her sister, Pat Mitzel and dear friend, Lou Ottem. Her passion in life was for her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.  She was survived by her brother, Mel (Kim) Hartsoch  and their children, Ryan and Morgan of  California, and her sister, Pat (Ron) Mitzel of Othello, Washington and their son, Justin (Mariebel) of Kennewick, Washington, and her great nephew, Gunner.
