Obituary of Dorcel V. Wyman
Dorcel V. Wyman, age 78, of Othello, Washington, peacefully passed away before the sun could rise early morning September 25, 2017, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Caldwell, Idaho on February 2, 1939 to Delbert and Louella (Gipe) McGinty. Dorcel was raised with her two brothers (Delbert "Bud", George "Truman") and three sisters in Caldwell (Marjorie, Kay, Joanne). She graduated from Caldwell High School’s class of 1957. She was married to Dale Wyman on August 10, 1958 in Caldwell and enjoyed a wonderful 59 years of marriage. They moved to Othello in 1970 where they raised two children together Christy and Carla. Dorcel owned and operated her own ceramic shop for 8 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church until it closed and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Potter’s Drug for nearly 25 years. She had a passion for riding horses, camping, and the great outdoors early in life and cared for her husband and grandchildren later in life. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be dearly missed and always loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Annette Kay Wyman, and brother, George Truman McGinty. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens. To leave a condolence for Dorcel in lue of flowers memorials could be sent to:
