Obituary of David R. Williams Sr.
David R. Williams Sr., age 62, of Othello, Washington, passed away at home, peacefully in his sleep, June 28, 2017. He was born in Hillsboro, Oregon on July 22, 1954, to parents Alfred and Yvonne Williams. David was married to Robin Edgerton on September 28, 1973 in Vancouver, Washington. That same year Elvis Presley was featured in the first globally broadcasted concert via satellite, Aloha from Hawaii. Together they had 5 children and enjoyed 43 years of marriage. David was a professional drywall installer and finisher for most of his career. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had a passion for the outdoors, fishing and loved Elvis, but his primary passion in life was for his family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Robin Williams of Othello, Washington. Father: Alfred Williams, Children: Brian (Rae B.) Williams, David Jr (Kaylyn) Williams, Robert (Marci) Williams, Nova Williams (Nick Stoltmann), and Daniel E. Williams. Siblings: Micheal Clarke, Teri (Robert) Chiodo, Rod (Christy) Williams, Randy Williams, Rick (Nancy) Williams, and Tami (Scott) Harrison. David also leaves behind 8 grandchildren to cherish his loving memory. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Fontes. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
