Loving Husband and Father, born August 25, 1945 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, went to be with God in heaven on May 1, 2017, in Warden, Washington.
He leaves behind his children: Michael Wilt of Tacoma, Washington, Tony Wilt of Bonney Lake Washington, Ricky Wilt of Bonney Lake, Washington. Step-son Norrell Webster of Graham, Washington, and Step-son Chester Webster of Auburn, Washington. Siblings: Tom Wilt of Quaker Town, Pennsylvania, Carl Wilt of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Miles Wilt Curwinsville, Pennsylvania, Sandy Muack Pennsylvania. Richard also leave behind 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren to cherish his loving memory. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Wilt, his parents, Thomas and Olive Wilt, his sister Jane Wilt and his step-daughter Marti Wilt. Richard was a veteran. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1970, and earned his Vietnam Service Medal. He had worked pulling rope and cable, and as a mechanic. He enjoyed restoring cars and entered them into car shows, but his primary passion in life was his wife, Violet.
A Viewing will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden, Washington.
