Obituary of Joe Angel Valdez
Joe Angel Valdez Sr., age 57, a lifelong resident Othello, Washington, passed away March 22, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fowler, California on October 11, 1959 to parents, Santiago Sr. and Agustina Valdez. He was married to Neyda Garza on June 28, 1986, and together they raised three children. Joe owned and operated J.A. Valdez Trucking, established 1995, which is still in operation today. He attended Bethel Spanish Assembly of God Church, and had a passion for sports, especially baseball, but Joe’s primary passion in life was for his wife, Neyda, and his family. He will be dearly missed. He was survived by his wife, Neyda Valdez of Othello, Washington, his parents, Santiago Sr. and Agustina Valdez of Othello, Washington, his children, Joe Angel Valdez Jr of Othello, Washington, James Alexander (Jocelyn) Valdez of Touchet, Washington, and Jacklynn Neydee (Edgar) Alfaro of Pasco, Washington, and siblings, Armandina (Nieves) Gomez, Esmeralda (Miguel) Torres, Santiago Jr. (Elma) Valdez, and Maria Elena (Elias) Valdez, all of Othello, Washington. Joe also leaves behind one grandchild, Nylah Edelynn Alfaro, of Pasco, Washington. An evening visitation service will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, and funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Bethel Spanish Assembly of God Church, with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.
