Obituary of Michael Earl Eyler

Michael Earl Eyler, age 62, of Othello, Washington, passed away December 26, 2016 at the Othello Community Hospital. He was born in Bellingham, Washington on May 30, 1954 to parents, Earl Eyler and Rita Moffet. Mike graduated from Oak Harbor High School’s Class of 1972. He had a career as a lineman. He was hard working and dedicated. He worked for Puget Power for 16 years and owned and operated his own side business doing tree removal. He worked for Avista for 6 years, and then spent 3 years working for contractors before health issues caused him to leave the workforce. He enjoyed boating up and down the Columbia River and loved his two puppies, Gus and Chewy. He will be missed. Mike was survived by his children; Sara Eyler of Jackson, Missouri, Brad Eyler of Othello, Washington, and Brent (Christeen) Eyler of Concrete, Washington, and siblings; Gayle (Dave) Elkins of Marysville, Washington, Dianne (Wayne) Buehner of Gresham, Oregon, and Gary (Yvonne) Eyler of Spokane, Washington. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren (9 and 1 on the way) and significant other Sigrid Vancleve cherish his loving memory. In accordance with Mike’s wishes, a private family gather is going to be held at a later date.
