Obituary of Glen David Collins
Glen David Collins, age 53, of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away October 15, 2016. He was born in Auburn, Washington on January 13, 1963 to parents, Howard and Marguerite (Rhode) Collins. He was one of 13 children. Growing up in a farming community, he drove truck and was a farm laborer until he was tragically struck by a car while riding a motorcycle. The accident left him physically disabled, but his spirit was not so easily caged. Glen was a fun, free spirited, he was a joker, and loved by many. He was survived by his daughter, Gemma Collins, and siblings: Linda (Stan) Nelson of Mattawa, Washington, Mary Swope of Fresno, California, Chuck (Unknown) Collins of Unknown, Washington, Russ (Kim) Collins of Othello, Washington, Tom (Melissa Unknown) Collins of West Richland, Washington, Pat Collins of Moses Lake, Washington, Arnold (Katie) Collins of Othello, Washington, Mark (Julie) Collins of Moses Lake, Washington, Dale Collins of Othello, Washington, Susie (Ron) Henderickson of Quincy, Washington, Lisa (Jeff) Wilhelm of Othello, Washington, and Richard Collins of Republic, Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marguerite Collins, and his sister Nancy Collins. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
