Obituary of Justin Reno
Justin “Dusty” Reno, age 99, of Othello, Washington, passed away October 9, 2016, at Avalon Care Center. He was born in Circle, Montana, on October 15, 1916. Dusty graduated from a small school house in Circle. He was married to B. Frances (Reilly) Larson on January 25, 1963, in Post Falls, Idaho. Dusty and Frances had six children between the two of them, and they enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage. Frances passed away October 14, 2012. Dusty was a carpenter; and he served with the Army / Air Force in England during World War II as a Staff Sergeant. He was one of the original founders of the Othello Rodeo, and was a member of the Adams Country Sheriff’s Posse, but his primary passion was for his friends and family. He will be missed. He was survived by children: Yvonne Calavan of Seattle, Washington, Norma Tillotson of Hoquiam, Washington, Nels (Marilyn) Larson of Othello, Washington, Richard Reno of Othello, Washington, and Robert (Shana) Reno of Springfield, Oregon. Dusty also leaves 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren to cherish his loving memory. He his preceded in death by his: wife, Barbara Frances Reno, parents, Gilbert and Emma (Erickson) Reno, daughter, Karen Larson, and siblings, Agnes Cada, Homer “Stub” Reno, and Ray Reno.
