Obituary of Rebecca "Becky" Engles

Rebecca “Becky” Engles entered into rest on June 4th, 2016 in Post falls, Idaho. She was born in Pasco, Washington in 1946. There she attended Grandview area schools, and later attended Warden High school where she graduated in 1964. In 1967 she married the love of her life Bill Engles. From there they spent the next 49 years of their life in Othello where Rebecca worked for JR Simplot. Rebecca had many passions for life. She loved to fish, play softball, but the thing she enjoyed the most was being a loving family woman to her beautiful grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She was survived by her children Kris Engles of Othello, Washington, and Jeff Engles of Pasco, Washington. Also survived by many siblings, Arlene Craig (Marvin) Moses Lake, Washington, Jerry (Sharon) Cornwell Warden, Washington, Joe (Tonyia) Binghamton, New York, Kathy Cornwell of Warden, Washington and Sharon Cornwell Schrag of Warden, Washington, and proceeded by death by her mother Alice Elstad and pa Ernie Elstad, James and siblings, Theresa (Homer) Mallonee, and Jim Cornwell. She also leaves behind several grandchildren; Andrew Engles (Katrina Ursua) of Pasco, Randa (Daniel) Flatau of Pasco, Washington, Chase Engles of East Wenatchee, Washington, and Kayden Engles of East Wenatchee, Washington. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, June 13, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello, Washington. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello, Washington.
