Obituary of Robert E Jahns

Robert E. Jahns Sr., age 87, of Othello Washington, passed away September 15, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Spokane Washington on August 8, 1928 to parents, Harold and Gladys Jahns. Bob was married to Carolyn Alford, October 1, 1949. Together they raised 9 children in Coeur d’Alene Idaho before moving to Othello in 1977. Carolyn passed away February 9, 2005. Bob was married to Barbara Kehrer August 7, 2007. He was a self-employed farmer, and a member of the Living Church of God. He loved farming, and enjoyed people. He was fun loving man who usually had a joke ready to tell. “Pops” will be dearly missed. He was survived by his wife, Barbara Jahns, his children; Linda (Steve) Bradshaw of Othello Washington, Virginia (†Arthur) Wanner of Othello Washington, Robert E. (Jessica) Jahns jr of Othello Washington, Harold (†Deena Lee) Jahns of Othello Washington, Carol (Jeff Jelmberg) Jahns of Othello Washington, Mary (Jim) Allcock of Selah Washington, David A. Jahns of Othello Washington, Stephen (Renee) Jahns of Othello Washington, and Donald Wayne Jahns of Othello Washington, his step-children; Randall (Edith) Kehrer of Seattle Washington, Robert Kehrer of Pasco Washington, and Tiger (Henry) Mokuau of Kennewick Washington, his sister, Betty (Larry) Mills of Heppner Oregon, and his brother, Norman (June) Jahns of Worley Idaho. Bob also leave 31 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren to cherish his loving memory. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, September 22, 2015, at Royal Memorial Gardens in Royal City Washington.
