Obituary of Luella Belle Lintvedt

Luella (Lou) Lintvedt, 81, of Othello, Washington passed away Monday September 7, 2015 at Avalon Care Center. She was born in Baker, Montana on November 19, 1933. Luella graduated from Baker High School in 1952. During high school she worked at the ‘Kit Kat’ and the Green Dragon restaurants in Baker. She married Charles Lintvedt in March of 1955. They lived in various areas of Montana and Washington while Charles worked for the Milwaukee Railroad. In 1964 they moved to Othello. Luella was a Girl Scout member for 30 years, serving as a leader, cookie chairmen, camp director, and leader trainer. She was also involved with 4-H homemaking and Cub Scouts. Luella volunteered at the Othello stock car races and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She most recently attended Othello Cristian Church. She had a passion for camping, cooking, baking wedding Cakes, knitting, and any type of craft. Luella also enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers as well as railroad memorabilia. She was also interested in researching and documenting her family’s genealogy. Although She will be remembered for her many talents, Luella enjoyed being with her family and friends most of all. Luella survived by her loving husband Charles Lintvedt, her children; Faye (Orin) Covington of Silverdale, Washington, Charles Jr. (Laura) Lintvedt of Othello, Sara (Dave) Moen of Lemmon, South Dakota, her sister Shirley Barth of Baker, Montana, 9 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren She preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Lizzie Jordan and her two brothers Virgil and Vernold Jordan.
