Obituary of Rick Montemayor

Enrique “Rick” Montemayor, 43, a lifelong resident of Othello Washington, passed away July 23, 2015 at Othello Community Hospital. He was born September 17, 1971 in Othello to Jose L. and Mauricia Montemayor. Rick Graduated from Othello High School in 1990 and later worked as a truck driver for Adan Garza Jr. Trucking and Land O Lakes. He was a member of the Church of Agape. Rick had a passion for motorcycles, dirt biking, and atv’s. He was a very loving and compassionate family man who enjoyed giving big hugs to those he loved especially his children. Also, Rick was a friend to many. He was known for his quick wit to those who knew him and he loved to make people laugh. He is survived by his mother Mauricia Montemayor of Othello, his Children Nicoh (Jennifer) Montermayor, Natashia (Amando) DeLeon, Nathaniel Montemayor and 4 grandchildren all of Othello. He is also survived by 6 siblings Anna Martinez, Victor Montemayor, Homero Montemayor, Jose Montemayor, Mario Montemayor and Jerry Valdez and many nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello Washington. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Othello Nazarene Church, with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.
