Obituary of Beatrice Garcia Calzadillas
Beatrice G. Calzadillas, 87, of Othello, Washington passed away peaceably in her sleep, Monday, July 13, 2015, at her home, with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Huntley, Montana on August 21, 1927. Bea graduated from Huntley High School. She married George Calzadillas August 27, 1948. She raised her children all over the place including Moxee, Washington, Billings, Montana, and Othello. Bea worked as a trimmer at Carnation in Othello for a few years, but she was known by most as a homemaker. She was a Member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Beatrice had a passion for cooking, and family was everything to her. Beatrice was survived by her husband George Calzadillas of Othello, Washingotn and her daughter, Suzi (Leland) Laughlin of Othello, Washington. She also leaves 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grand Children, and one great great-grandchild to cherish her loving memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tiburico and Camila Calzadillas, children; Greg Calzadillas, George Calzadillas, and Fred Calzadillas, and siblings; Lawrence Garcia, Tony Garcia, Mary Ronquillo, Susie Garcia, Claudia Garcia, and Nick Garcia. A Catholic Rosary will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Thursday afternoon, at Stevens Funeral Chapel, June 16, 2015, following with a Catholic Mass at 11:00 am, Friday morning, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
