Obituary of Clifford Burns Mount
Clifford “Psycho” Mount, age 65, of Othello Washington, lost his battle to cancer on May 11, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dayton Ohio on January 19, 1950 to parents Ralph and Wilma Mount. Clifford was a decorated Vietnam War veteran, and proudly served in the US Army from 1967 through 1973 with the 725th Maintenance Battalion. Clifford most recently worked in retail as a sales associate for Walmart in Moses Lake and Othello. He loved his work, and enjoyed serving the community. He had a great passion for fishing. He loved to go out to the pot holes and “drown some worms” as he would say. His biggest passion was sports; the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and Nascar. He is survived by his; son, Christopher J. Mount of Othello Washington, daughter, Crystal Mount of San Antonio Texas, and sister, Heleen Mount of Othello Washington. He is also survived by numerous other “family” members who may not have been his blood, but were his heart; sisters, daughters, nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. Clifford is preceded in death by his; parents, Ralph and Wilma Mount, grandparents, and uncle. A memorial service and Celebration of Life Open house were held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00am at Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello Washington.
